Kaikoura is a pretty little coastal town located on the east coast of the South Island and is known as one of New Zealand's marine-life meccas and as such, many of the things to do in Kaikoura revolve around exploring the ocean and the coastline. Hanmer is a quaint alpine spa village located 65km’s south west of Kaikoura.
